Ajisekola Timileyin Keep resting Senior Dolu Ige August 17, 2019

Just Sitting with Lawal Rildwan and we thought of Life in GOF International College and started mentioning most loved persons and your name wasn't far from the list.

It saddens the heart that such a beauty brain and personality had to return to the heavens so early.

Just out of the blues we remembered you and they were only thoughts of how exemptional you were.

Keep resting senior Dolu Ige.

Oluwatobi Oluwaleye There wasn't another opportunity July 25, 2013

I met her once. We met at Sea school Apapa for a leadership course organized by the Federal government for all Universities in the West. I had her in mind and hoped to see her again cos I wondered a lot about her name- DOLU (never heard anyone bear that name), she was so so pretty, had this charming smile and Geez... she could gist and laugh and play. Dolu had this friend from her school... I dont remember his name anymore but she called him pastor or president.. not sure.
Sleep well, Girl. I know we would still meet again and reign with Christ.

The quality of life isn't measured by how long one lives but by the quality of life and the impact on others.

Without mincing words, Dolu lived life of the highest quality.

Love you dearly.

Rest on.
Ese Grage A letter to Dolu July 1, 2013

Dear Dolu,

My name is Ese, Ese Grage. We met in school but we were far from friends. I noticed you, I noticed you because of your smile, you were very beautiful. Its sad I never told you that to your face, but yes, you were very pretty. The last time I saw you was at Muson Center some years back and the first thing I noticed was your incredible weight loss and being a pepetual weight watcher, I envied you.

I didnt approach you that day, because in my usual manner, I avoid people i don't have a regular rapour with and just move on but today, I wish I had said a simple 'hello'

For several days afterwards, I wondered about your weight. I wished I was you. It wasnt until later I began to think that your weight loss may not have been deliberate. But what did i know? I was too cut up in my own world, i could only envy your slender body and not imagine the pain you had endured, the battle you fought, the weakness you must have been feeling.

Your passing has taught me a couple of things dear Dolu and I thank you for sharing your life with us all. You were indeed a blessing and will not be forgotten soon.

God bless your dainty soul and heal those of us you left down here.
UYI F ETINOSASERE DONT TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED June 27, 2013

dolu was such a Darling, so full of life, there was never a dull moment with her. i cant forget the day i heard she had passed on. i was asleep, wen i got a call from a friend that dolu had passed on. "i must be dreaming" i said to myself. woke up the next day to the harsh reality of life. SO DOLU HAS REALLY PASSED ON' and that moment i realised i had taken alot of things for granted. you know how u make friends, and say to yourself naah dey would always be dere. ild definately get to see them once again maybe in one of those "RUN" gatherings. i never got to see dolu again after i passed out in 2009. never got to hear her call me "ETI MAMA" or even got the chance to say "DOLU BEBE" never got to hear dolu laugh again. yeah that contagious laughter.  well i take solace in the fact that ure in a better place. truth be told dolu ure indeed a HERO even in Death, u still taught me a big lesson. i have learnt never to take things and people for Granted. REST ON DOLU IGE!!!
